It is a city in Mexico, capital of the state of Baja California Sur and also head of the municipality of La Paz, located south of the Baja California peninsula. The Guaycuras were the first inhabitants of the peninsula and named this place as Airapí. Upon the arrival of the Spanish it was baptized as Santa Cruz, having arrived on May 3, 1535. The city is designed in the classic rectilinear style, with streets radiating from the seafront to the northwest of the city. I traveled alone with my son and I felt at home. Mariano who runs the hostel helped me a lot with everything I needed. Very good atmosphere, like being with family. My son really enjoyed the pool, which was beautiful, both the charming place surrounded by lights and plants, and the quality of the water. At night, in the kitchen Mariano delighted us with his experimental but very delicious dinners. Two weeks of a very good atmosphere, lots of laughs with the manager and the location is excellent, very close to the Malecón. I plan to return without hesitation!!!!"

"I loved staying at Hostal Sunset!!! Everyone who works there is very kind and friendly, I loved meeting them. I travel with my dog, and finding suitable accommodation was quite a challenge, and this hostel was one of the only ones places that accepted pets. The care they gave my dog was exceptional: they took care of her, walked her and even fed her. They made us feel at home and like family. I was even away on a tour for 2 days and they took care of her with "A lot of care and taste! Without a doubt, I would choose this place again. The location is a super plus too."

"Very good experience at the Sunset, Mariano very attentive and friendly as host and the volunteer boys Jerson, Andrea bb and Bety are very friendly, always aware of what you need.
